The storyboard for the final project was kept minimal in the demonstration to not overwhelm students due to the scope of the project. Students are encouraged to add their own twist to it based on how much additional effort they want to put in.

This character was designed to be simple for beginners yet complicated enough to teach elements of organic modeling and ranging techniques such as IK and FK systems.

This asset was to demonstrate the basics of symmetry, hard surface modeling for subdivision, and using duplicated elements for set dressing.

This character is built entirely out of geometric primitives to demonstrate to students modeling doesn't have to be super complicated!

This rig serves as an introduction to the concept of hierarchical rigging without needing to get into the more complicated aspects of joints and skinning.

This 1st project is an all around introduction to Maya, using geometric primitives and lambert materials to build an environment, then exploring how transforms and pivots can bring a ball to life with animations!
